Quadruple Guitar
This was a picture I took of my dad’s acoustic guitar. It was on purpose that I only showed part of the guitar. This way it looked very weird and interesting when the symmetry effect was added. It makes it look like there are four necks, which I thought looked pretty cool. I also like how there appear to be two holes.
Dazed and Confused
This is actually a picture of a t-shirt I own. I like Led Zeppelin, and I thought it looked strange how the four zeppelins seem to form one shape. It was also cool how the whole album cover in general looked when given this effect. I like how the words “Led Zeppelin” look when turned upside down and around. Considering that it was already a fairly trippy album cover, the fact that there are four of them reversed and inverted only add to that effect.
Films
This is part of my movie collection. I partly took it as an excuse to talk about movies, but I also just liked the way it looked visually. I particularly like the angular look of the photo when symmetry is applied to it. It gives it sort of a kaleidoscopic look. It also is good at showing off the kinds of movies that I like, which is a plus.
